COME PLAY DEAD (2020)
Promise me to not be fooled and play into this extremely organized and decorated system. Don’t generally conform to what society thinks is the norm.
Don’t overindulge on it, don’t overdose, thinking money is everything, using it for everything.
Don’t do what my people do.
Marc Elisabeth’s ‘COME PLAY DEAD’ contains the visual documentation in which I explore existential questions concerning one’s purpose in life and our ongoing attempts to adapt to others’ expectations.
It’s a personal collection of daily life, beautiful failures and fruitless actions dipped in bright colors.
A quest to embrace the inner child, assembling memories, searching for unexplored territories, finding the vice and the crooked, and thereby, little pieces of himself.
